Building Global Partnerships for Justice
Advancing Criminal Justice Reform
Through Collaboration, Capacity, and Data
We employ a holistic approach to criminal justice, through:
- Multisectoral approaches: We draw on expertise and explore opportunities beyond development. These mirror the principles of interconnectedness from the triple nexus approach and include but are not limited to; human rights, humanitarian action, leveraging the private sector and other uncommon allies.
- Intersectional collaboration: We fight against the discrimination of incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people through recognizing the interconnectedness of SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) and other thematic areas, where the failure of one, has deleterious impact on the rest with far-reaching consequences on our collective goals for people and planet.
We therefore partner with allies working to reduce poverty; end inequalities; advance healthy communities including the ageing population; decent work and economic growth; quality education; and gender equality among others.
